The applicant obtains an application form from the Office of the IECB Secratariat and pays the application fee of PHP 1000 for CIE applicants or PHP 3000 for GFR applicants.
Alternatively, the downloadable version of the Application Form and Recommendation Forms may be printed and the application fees paid upon filing of the application.
Non-PIIE members who wish to apply for PIIE membership and PIIE members who wish to renew their membership should visit the PIIE website at [www.piie.org] for application and membership renewal details.
The applicant fills out and submits the forms together with the other requirements by the deadlines set by the IECB. General application deadlines are as follows

Payment of application fee can be done at the office of the IECB Secretariat or through bank deposit.
Check payments should be payable to Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers. For bank payments, please contact the IECB Secretariat for bank details. The deposit slip should be faxed or mailed to the IECB Office for confirmation. The IECB will mail the exam permit (for CIE applicants) and the official receipt to the applicant's mailing address within one week upon confirmation of bank payment.
For CIE Applicants, each application should be accompanied by:
a filled-out Application Form and one (1) photocopy using IECB-CIE Form No. 2
authenticated/Certified true copy of Transcript of Records or Diploma
four (4) colored 2” x 2” size ID pictures
NSO/LGU certified birth certificate or naturalization documents
application fee of PHP 1,000.00.
For PIE applicants, each application should be accompanied by:
cover letter
a filled-out Application Form and one (1) photocopy using IECB-GFR Form No. 2
most recent CV using IECB-GFR Form No.3
Letter of recommendation from 2 references (1 PIIE board member and 1
active PIIE member) (IECB-GFR Form Nos. 4 and 5)
Authenticated/Certified true copy of Transcript of Records or Diploma
four (4) colored 2” x 2” size ID pictures
NSO/LGU certified birth certificate or naturalization documents
Supporting papers pertaining to sources of points (Appendix GRF-01)
Soft copy of all application form, CV, recommendation letters, pictures and TOR in CD
application fee of PHP 3,000.00
Target date of CIE Exams is on November 2011 Venue: UP Diliman.
Successful CIE and PIE applicants should personally confirm their registration to the IECB Secretariat during the scheduled registration period for CIE and PIE certifications. Successful applicants will also be scheduled for the oath-taking ceremony where their presence is also required.
